These terms are an agreement between you and Rouleur Partners LLC, which runs Fun Hog ("we", "us"). By using funhogmarket.com or texting us, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

What we do

Fun Hog helps people sell things they own and find things they want. You tell our assistant what you have or what you're hunting for, on the web or by text. It writes up items, suggests prices from market data, and looks for people on the other side. We are a matchmaker, not a party to any sale: the buyer and the seller make their own deal, and each is responsible for their side of it. If we ever charge a fee, we tell you the amount and when it applies before you agree to it.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to make a binding agreement.
• You sign in with Google or, once texting is live, a code sent to your phone. Keep access to them secure; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
• One person per account. Give us accurate details, including a phone number you own.

Your items, photos and words

• Only list things you own and have the right to sell. Describe them honestly, including faults.
• You keep ownership of your photos and descriptions. You let us store, edit for length and format, and show them as needed to run the service, including to buyers when you choose to share or publish an item.
• Our assistant drafts descriptions, details and price ranges. Check them before you publish: you are responsible for what your listing says.
• Price ranges are estimates from available data, not appraisals or guarantees.

Our assistant

Messages from Fun Hog, on the web and by text, are written by an automated assistant. A person on our team can step in at any time; just ask.

Text messages

• Fun Hog texts. When you text us, we reply to your messages about selling and hunting.
• Alerts (when something fits one of your hunts, or a buyer fits something you own) are sent only if you say yes, on the web or by replying YES. Saying yes is not a condition of buying or selling.
• Message frequency varies; we start at most 1 text a day, and only during daytime hours where you are. Msg & data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop all texts from us, HELP for help, and START to start again. You can also tell us in your own words, or turn alerts off on your account page.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texting is available for US and Canadian numbers.

Things you may not do

• List stolen, counterfeit, recalled or illegal items, or anything you can't legally sell.
• Mislead buyers or sellers, impersonate anyone, or use someone else's phone number.
• Send spam, scrape the site, or try to get around our security or the limits on contact between users.

We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

No warranties; limits on liability

We provide Fun Hog as is. We don't inspect items and don't guarantee that a listing is accurate, that an item is as described, or that a sale will happen. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes between buyers and sellers, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $100 if you paid none).

Changes and law

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
